OGM Precisión Técnica began operations in the year 2000, in the city of Tejar, Cartago, originally under the name PRETECSA, founded by Oscar Gómez, a true enthusiast of mechanical engineering and industrial mechanics.

In 2003, the growth of the company helped us build a bigger plant with greater operating capabilities, which in turn allowed us to make technological improvements and introduce new CNC equipment. In 2006, the company changed it’s name to OGM Precisión Técnica S.A.

The company’s rapid growth –a true reflection of our clients’ satisfaction-, soon made the recently built facilities too small to handle the ever-growing demand for our services. As a result, in 2013, we moved our operations to Cartago’s Free Zone, where we have a 1000 square meter building, more machinery, a Quality laboratory, an R&D area, and most importantly, an infrastructure which is home to a large amount of collaborators, all working together under the same culture of quality towards a single end: following the same passion for mechanics that years ago drove Oscar Gómez to create this company and serve the Costa Rican industry.
